This is that time of the year when various award functions take place around the world. Recently, Grammy Awards 2020 and Academy Awards 2020 were held to recognize and felicitate the best talents in the music and film industry worldwide.

And on Saturday night, the prominent award function ‘65th Filmfare Awards’ was organized in Assam’s Guwahati. Like every year, it acknowledges and celebrates the Bollywood’s finest performances of the previous year.

This year, the stellar award night witnessed an array of Bollywood actors, including Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Taapsee Pannu, Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Ayushmann Khurrana, Bumi Pednekar Vicky Kaushal, and Kartik Aaryan.

Also, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-starrer Gully Boy emerged as a big winner, taking home a total of 13 awards in a wide range of categories, from the Best Actor to Best Film to Best Director and others. Interestingly, Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee’s Black bagged the most number of Filmfare awards (11) back in 2006.
