#BalaTrailer: A ROFL Hair-Raising Story With Many Witty Moments

After making people laugh by becoming a ‘Dreamgirl’, Ayushmann is all set to entertain us again, but this time with a bald look. And, just like other movies of Ayushmann, this movie also takes a ride to a serious common men issue filled with witty dialogues.

In the 2 minute-47-second video, Ayushmann is seen playing the role of Gaurav Rawat, aka Bala, a simple guy from Lucknow who is suffering from premature balding. As the video opens, it first takes on the topic of people's obsession with fair skin, as Bala is seen selling skin whitening products.

In the first shot, he is seen telling people how a family always looks for a fair-skinned girl for their son. At the very moment, a dusky girl from Lucknow, Bhumi Pednekar, gets offended by the same and asks Bala why he is wearing a cap and removes his cap, leaving Bala's semi-bald head in the open.

The video keeps going on to show Bala's struggle with untimely balding and how it is proving as a hindrance in his marriage. The movie also stars Yami Gautam, Bala's love interest in the film, who is playing the role of a supermodel from Lucknow.

In an interview with a news agency, Ayushmann Khurrana spoke about his role in Bala, saying that he gets "excited" every time he gets a challenging role. He said,

"The more challenging or complex the character is, I get more excited. And going with the same trajectory, I'm excited with Bala."

While sharing the trailer of Bala on the Twitter account, Ayushmann wrote,

Soon the trailer released on the internet, it hit more than 10 million views over YouTube. And to show gratitude towards the audience, Ayushmann chose a funny way.

Ayushmann and Yami Gautam have earlier worked in a blockbuster like Vicky Donor in 2012. Meanwhile, he has also worked opposite to Bhumi in blockbusters like Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.

Ayushmann’s last flick Dream Girl made a huge run and became a box office success. The film managed to take its total to almost Rs 140 crore and became the actor’s most successful film ever. After Badhaai Ho, Dream Girl is also Ayushmann’s second film to hit a century.

The comedy-drama, Bala, is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films. And, the movie will hit the screens on November 7, till then enjoy the trailer here:
