It all started when the #DheemeDheemeChallenge took the internet by storm as challenges are frequently emerging on social media nowadays. And, whenever such challenges start trending, almost everyone tries to participate in it, whether they are a celebrity or common people.
Similarly, when #DheemeDheemeChallenge started getting viral, courtesy Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday's catchy dance steps in the Pati Patni Aur Woh song Dheeme Dheeme, Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone wanted to join in. But somehow, she was not able to copy the hook step, so she took to her Instagram account and asked Kartik Aryan to teach him the hook step of the song as he is the lead cast in the song.
She wrote,
"@kartikaaryan, will you please teach me the Dheeme Dheeme step!? I want to take part in the #Dheemdheemechallenge!!!"
And, since she posted this story, many started waiting for Kartik Aaryan’s response to this. Well, guess what he did. He also posted a story on his official Instagram account, responding to Deepika.
He wrote,
"Zi, zarur. Aap jaldi pick kar lengi... bataiye kab."
And, this all became more interesting when enthusiastic Deepika invited Kartik to terminal 2A of Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 9:00 AM and wrote on her Instagram story:
"@kartikaaryan tomorrow! 1st December, 2019. 9:00 AM CSIA, Terminal 2A Gate1
Be there or be square."
The star also invited Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday, Kartik's Pati Patni Aur Woh co-stars, and wrote,
"(PS: Patni and Woh are welcome…)"
So, they met at the airport, and as planned, tried the steps together. Not only Kartik is good at teaching the step, but also, Deepika is a quick learner. Yes, she aced the hook step of Dheeme Dheeme quite soon.
Soon after that, several videos of two dancing at the airport went viral.
Even Kartik Aryan shared videos and pictures of them dancing at the airport on his Instagram.
He wrote,

Also, the "Padmaavat" actress thanked Kartik once again on her Instagram story. She wrote:
"Thank you @kartikaaryan for your warmth and enthusiasm. All the best and lots of love."
Pati Patni Aur Woh is the remake of the 1978 film of the same name, which featured Sanjeev Kumar, Ranjeeta Kaur, and Vidya Sinha in the lead roles. Other than Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday, and Bhumi Pednekar, the remake also features Rajesh Sharma and Aparshakti Khurrana.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak, in which she will play the role of Laxmi Agarwal, an acid attack survivor. Other than that, Deepika will also feature in Kabir Khan's '83, where she will play Romi Bhatia, wife of Kapil Dev.
Kartik Aaryan has other projects like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and an untitled film by Imtiaz Ali and right now awaits the release of his upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh, which will open in theatres on December 6.
