#DilKaTelephone: Ayushmann Woos Everyone with Girly, Melodious Voice

After enticing viewers with the naughty trailer, now the filmmakers have released one hilarious catchy number, titled 'Dil Ka Telephone' and undoubtedly, Ayushmaan is all set to tickle your funny bones with this peppy number.

To share the second song of the film, the actor took to his Twitter handle today noon. He wrote,

"Love urf #DreamGirl is calling! 😉 Are you ready to pick up? ❤📞 #DilKaTelephone song out now. http://bit.ly/DilKaTelephoneDreamGirl …@NushratBharucha @ektaravikapoor @ruchikaakapoor @writerraj #AnnuKapoor @nowitsabhi @ActorVijayRaaz @oyemanjot"

The quirky song, which gives us a glimpse of National Award winner Ayushmaan's character in the film, is crooned by Meet Bros, Jonita Gandhi, and Nakash Aziz. The 2-minutes-41-second video is about how he manages to make his way into the hearts of his callers and their funny conversations.

Yes, the AndhaDhun actor essays a man who can speak in a female voice and even his actions, sorry, cute actions, lead to hilarious consequences. He lands a job in the flick at the adult hotline with the girl name, Pooja and ends up with his many customers falling head over heels in love with him.

While interviewing about the song, Jonita Gandhi told media people,

“When I found out I was going to be the voice behind Ayushmann Khurrana, I was confused. Once Manmeet (Meet Bros) explained, I remember laughing. I can’t wait to see him act out my lines.”

Earlier, she had said in a statement,

“It’s definitely a first for me and I’m excited! Recording this song with the Meet Bros was so much fun. The song is full of drama and the singing style is slightly retro. We experimented in-studio with various textures and delivery styles and I think we ended up with something super catchy! I hope everyone has as much fun listening to and watching this song as we had recording it.”

Raaj Shaandilya, the director, also gave some really interesting insights about the song fitting well with the role of Ayushmann. He said,

"The song fits perfectly well in the narrative. Ayushmann's character; who lands a job in a female friendship call centre, talks to his listeners as Pooja, resolving their daily problems and becoming their virtual friend. While interacting with the callers, one of them asks Pooja to sing, that's when Ring Ring comes into play. We wanted them (the song's composers Meet Bros and lyricist Kumaar) to come up with the track that has fun lyrics and at the same time conveys the film's story."

Before this song, the moviemakers have also released the first song titled "Radhe Radhe" in which Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha have been pictured in fun-frolic and festive mode.

It was also a two-and-a-half-minute video which opens with a visual of film's lead dressed as Lord Krishna. The song showcases the lead pair flirting throughout the video, perfectly encapsulating the essence of Janmashtami. Must say, Ayushmann's quirky expressions and Nushrat's graceful dance moves are the highlights of the song.

The film also features Annu Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Rajesh Sharma, and Nidhi Bisht in significant roles and is slated to release on 13th September this year.
