#Ghungroo: Hrithik, Vaani Look Amazing in this Peppy Number from ‘War’

Since the day, Yash Raj Films used its Twitter handle to announce that the first song of War titled “Ghungroo” is about to release, there is excitement everywhere especially among Hritik Roshan’s fans.

They wrote,

“Get ready to party your heart out with @iHrithik & @Vaaniofficial to the beats of #Ghungroo💃🏻🕺🏻 SONG OUT TOMORROW. @VishalDadlani @ShekharRavjiani@raiisonai
@shilparao11 #Kumaar @iTIGERSHROFF #SiddharthAnand #WAR #HrithikVsTiger”

From the day trailer released, people are waiting for the songs of the flick. And, finally today, the makers of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s upcoming actioner War released the film’s first song.

Hrithik Roshan took to his Twitter handle today and wrote,

“From Guns to #Ghungroo.. This #War has it all! @vaaniofficial @VishalDadlani @ShekharRavjiani #ArijitSingh  @raiisonai @shilparao11 #Kumaar @iTIGERSHROFF #SiddharthAnand #WAR #HrithikVsTiger @yrf
Song out NOW https://youtu.be/qFkNATtc3mc”

As expected, the song is another party anthem, sung by Arijit Singh and Shilpa Rao, which will take no time to find a place on your playlist.

The peppy Vishal-Shekhar composition relies on Hrithik and Vaani’s chemistry and is set on a beach. It can be seen that the duo getting into the groove at a party on the beach is too hot to handle. And, as always, Hrithik is unbelievable at dance moves here, along with Vaani who added some spark with her acrobatics.

The song could not be said as a remake version but surely used the hook-line of the classic number “Ghungroo Toot Gaye” from the film “Param Dharam” of 1987 which was sung by Salma Agha, and later became a ghazal sung by Pankaj Udhas.

War director Siddharth Anand talked about the song Ghungroo and said,

“Hrithik and Vaani’s pairing brings a lot of freshness on screen. They are good looking actors, have steamy chemistry and are brilliant dancers. Ghungroo is a party anthem and what’s incredible is that we filmed it on the amazing Positano beach and the Amalfi Coast. Everything about War is about the scale and in Ghungroo, we will show audiences the most good-looking beach day party that they have ever seen. War has many firsts and we can now tell you that no other film or artiste has ever shot a song on the Amalfi Coast because of the exclusiveness this destination brings. I am glad we will be the first film to show it in all its glory.”

Talking about Shilpa, Siddharth said,

“We also have Shilpa Rao singing for Vaani in the film. Shilpa swept all awards for Khuda Jaane (Bachna Ae Haseeno) and since then she has sung in every film of mine. So, it was amazing collaborating with her again. Ghungroo is the party anthem to watch out for.”

Helmed by Siddharth Anand, War showcases the story of special agent Khalid (Tiger) and Kabir (Hrithik) gone rogue, whose job is to bring the other down. Remarkably, War is the first film of Tiger Shroff with his "idol" Hrithik Roshan.

War is a multilingual film which is set to release in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil on October 2 this year.
