Milind Deora Slams MLA Accusing Celebs of Flaunting their Drugged State

A couple of days ago, the top film producer and director Karan Johar threw a party that was attended by several Bollywood celebrities. The various A-list stars who were present at the bash were Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Vicky Kaushal, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji, and others.

A video of the bash went viral on the social media in which many of the celebs can be seen enjoying the party. Manjinder S Sirsa, the SAD (Shiromani Akali Dal) MLA from Rajouri Garden in Delhi, posted a bizarre tweet along with the video clip. He claimed that the celebs were “proudly flaunting their drugged state.”

Sirsa tweeted on his official handle-

“#UDTABollywood - Fiction Vs Reality
Watch how the high and mighty of Bollywood proudly flaunt their drugged state!!
I raise my voice against #DrugAbuse by these stars. RT if you too feel disgusted
@shahidkapoor @deepikapadukone @arjunk26 @Varun_dvn @karanjohar @vickykaushal09”

In response to his tweet, Former Mumbai Congress Chief Milind Deora refuted his accusations, saying his wife was also present there at the party as can be seen in the video. And said that he should stop spreading lies and not defame people whom he does not even know while demanding an apology.

Deora wrote in his tweet-

“My wife was also present that evening (and is in the video). Nobody was in a “drugged state” so stop spreading lies & defaming people you don’t know!
I hope you will show the courage to tender an unconditional apology”

At the same time, Twitterati also got involved in the debate and was divided. While some of the users posted snapshots from the video alleging that the celebs had consumed drugs, others said that it was only a private party or get-together and no one looked high on drugs.
