THREAD - Part 3/3
This scene was cut because the film was too long.. & because there was already romance in Suraj Hua Maddham, Karan made without it. But we never get enough of their romantic scenes.

Karan Johar had revealed in his biography, An Unsuitable Boy, that despite so many big stars, there was no ego clash or insecurity during the film shooting.

The movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, one of Karan Johar's finest works, not only received a lot of love and appreciation amongst the masses but also is one of the first Indian films that had a book published on its making.

‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham...’ emerged as a packed entertainer even if the film faced flak for its long duration of 3 hours and 31 minutes. Interestingly, ‘K3G’ was also to feature Abhishek Bachchan apart from Amitabh and Jaya. Yes, the actor had possibly shot for a cameo in the film, but for some reason, the portion did not make it to the final cut.
