The upcoming movie of Priyanka Chopra, ‘The Sky Is Pink’ is the talk of the town since its news revealed; whether it is about their wrap-up party or about Zaira Wasim leaving Bollywood after working in this flick.
And, now the makers dropped its trailer earlier today. Well, as expected, the trailer is magical.
The first part of the 3-minute-10-second video is quite engaging and fascinating as it shows Priyanka falling in love with a guy, played by Farhan Akhtar, where Priyanka gets pregnant accidentally. But the clip takes a tragic turn in the second half when their daughter Aisha, played by Zaira, is diagnosed with a terminal disease and the family struggles to save her life as well as keep themselves together through the tough times. It could be seen that they fight, they cry, and sometimes, laugh together, and even after such tough times, they try to stay together.
Must say, Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim, and Rohit Saraf, with family dynamics in play, strike a chord with their performances.
The trailer, which also showcased Priyanka and Farhan aging gradually, showed expressed the actors in different looks, for example, in the latter half, the actress seen donned short hair and glasses. And, if not anything much, it is delightful to watch the talented Priyanka Chopra doing what she does best like in her comfort zone.

The movie ‘The Sky Is Pink’ is based on the true story of Aisha Chaudhary, who was diagnosed with an immune deficiency order at the age of 13 and became a motivational speaker after the diagnosis.
In an interview with Media People, Director Shonali Bose told PTI,
“The Sky Is Pink is a deeply personal and an incredibly special film for me. At its core, this is an extraordinary story of what it means to be a family.”
The flick also marks Priyanka’s big comeback to the Hindi film industry. She last appeared in 2016’s Jai Gangaajal, a Bollywood film, where she played a cop. However, she also appeared in Hollywood projects like A Kid Like Jake, Baywatch, and Isn’t It Romantic.
The film #TheSkyIsPink, produced by RSVP Movies and RKF, will be first screened at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 13 and will hit the screen in theatres on October 11.
